Description
This is a picture of Wally's Service Station in Mt Airy North Carolina. This is a recreation of the Wally's found in the Andy Griffith Show. Mt Airy is the boyhood home of Andy Griffith.
The police car in front of the service station is used to take tourist on a ride in the city to see all the sites. It is great fun. They even ran the siren for a few seconds for us!
